Andrzej Toman Is a member of the Luxtorpeda Association, which is formed by a group of Silesian running enthusiasts. They have long supported Hanie Bednarczyk, a five-year-old suffering from Angelman Syndrome. This year Andrew decided to fulfill a dream and cover a route of 1,100 kilometers alone. He set himself a goal: to raise 20 thousand zlotys for Hania’s rehabilitation during this time. Already in the process it turned out that his challenge attracts the interest of many people. Therefore, in the second half of the trek, the goal was changed to 30 thousand.

The trek began on April 19 in Świeradów Zdrój. Andrew then walked 440 km on the Main Sudeten Route. He twisted his ankle joint on the Main Beskid Trail, but it didn’t stop the challenge. On May 27, he reached Volosaty in the Bieszczady Mountains and thus completed the tour.

Toman wrote on his Facebook page:

The collection for Hania is still ongoing and will continue for several days. And don’t worry, when the goal of 30000 zloty is reached, you will be able to contribute further. The cash will take, and no one will take this money away from Hania. Greetings and thanks to everyone who cheered me on for at least one day.
